Es gibt insgesamt 2 neue Videos zum Empire at War Addon „Forces of Corruption“! Im ersten, 7:12 Minuten langen Video sieht man ein von Chris Rubyor kommentiertes Präsentationsvideo, in dem einem nochmal sehr schön ein Eindruck der neuen Einheiten und Gameplay-Neurungen vermittelt wird. So sieht man unter anderem eine orbitale Planetenbombardierung, besonders interessant hierbei: Erst wird eine Art EMP Schuss abgefeuert und danach ein Schuss, der eine verheerende Explosion auslöst. Auf diesen 3 Bildern sieht man sehr schön, wie ein Bombardement eingeleitet wird. Die Explosion ist sehr gut geworden, offensichtlich hat Petroglyph weiter an den Effekten gearbeitet.

Im zweiten Video sieht man Yoda und Luke Skywalker in Aktion. Yoda dezimiert in dem zweiten Video mit Hilfe einer Spezialfähigkeiten gleich mehrere Sturmtruppenbattalione.

Auf Gamespot und IGN wurden 2 neue Previews zum Empire at War Addon „Forces of Corruption“ gepostet! In den beiden Previews erhält man endlich erste ausfühlichere Infos zum Erweiterungspack: So wird die neue Fraktion, die Korrupten, in der Lage sein Planeten einfach mittels Bestechung einzunehmen. Das selbe funktioniert auch mit gegnerischen Einheiten, genügend Credits auf dem Konto vorausgesetzt, kann man problemlos gegnerische Einheiten zum Überlaufen bewegen.

Neben vielen neuen Helden wird es ingesamt 13 neue Planeten geben, darunter die Wolkenstadt über Bespin, Mustafar, Kamino und Mandalore.

Not only are there much larger maps now, but there are also special terrain modifiers and some types of terrain that only infantry can cross. Even better there are plenty of bunkers that you can garrison with your infantry units to hold off enemy attacks.[/quote]
Ebenfalls sehr interessant: Es wird verformbares Terrain geben, größere Maps sowie Bunker, in denen man seine Infanterie verschanzen kann.

Alles in allem werden in den beiden Previews jede Menge interessante Infos genannt, zuviele um sie hier alle aufzuzählen. Auch die neuen Einheiten, wie die beiden SSDs oder der DSII und die Möglichkeit der orbitalen Bombadierung klingen sehr gut.

Auch der Packshot zum Empire at War Addon „Forces of Corruption“ wurde veröffentlicht:

Heute wurde endlich ein [B]Trailer zu Star Wars: Empire at War – Force of Corruption Released[/B], der Trailer hat eine größe von 35 MB und ist im Quicktime (MOV) Format.
