Es gibt wieder Neuigkeiten für alle Ladder Zocker:
Als erstes haben wir einen Veränderung eingebaut, der den Spieler vor der sog. Namen-Such-Funktion in der 2on2 ladder schützen soll.
Dieses Feature erlaubte spielern mit ähnlichen namen (z.b Gandalf1 und Gandalf2), eine mannschaft aufzustellen, das ist aber auch dementsprechend an die regeln der jeweiligen ladder gebunden.
Zweitens, Wir haben das matching-bot System aktualisiert um weiterhin mehr enger berängte Spieler gegeneinander antreten zu lassen. das sollte ein willkommener wechsel für die hochrangigeren spieler sein, die irgendwas suchen, und „schlechtere“ (also welche mit nem niedrigeren rank) spieler werden mehr erfolg haben, wenn sie die Ränge hinaufklettern wollen.

1st, we have implemented a fix that will prevent players from using the naming exploit on the 2v2 Gamespy ladder. The exploit was allowing players with very similar names to team up together, which is not allowed according to the rules of the ladder. While we understand the desire to do this, this is simply not how the ladder is structured, and was therefore considered to be cheating and a glaring exploit. We have fixed this now and it should not be a problem any more. You won’t be seeing any more names with AAAAAA1 or AAAAAA2 teaming up together. If you do see this exploit still being used in some fashion, please notify me immediately. We are very confident it has been fixed, but we always have our eyes open.
2nd, We have updated the matching-bot system to further increase closer ranked players to match up against each other. This should be a welcome change to higher ranked players looking for a steeper challenge, and lower ranked players looking to find more success climbing the ranks.
