I posted up quite a few pics on the image gallery, to „make up for lost time“ more or less. I actually posted up 13 pics, but since the gallery page only holds 12, you’ll have to go to the next page to see the first one. Here’s a few to make your mouth water:
The second internal release of Red Alert: ReGeneration, version 0.2 (alpha 2), has just been completed. It contains lots of new models, more graphical snippets, and a whole lot of tweaks too.
To emphasize the release, I’ve put up some home-made screenshots of the new version in the Image Gallery.
SoulReaver also made some nice renders of the Turret, War Factory and Medium Tank. So you see people, we’re not dead. We’re just a little quiet. But expect plenty more screenshots in the future, as we now finally have something to show! biggrin.gif
On another side, I’m sad to say we’ve lost two team members in the last week.
First of all ComradeJ, who had been a modeller for the mod. He didn’t really agree with the general opinion of the team, and in a case like that either you go with the flow or leave. Apparently he picked the last option. It was nice of him to leave all of his work so far to the mod, so he didn’t leave without a goodbye present. That Tesla Tank in the screenshot is his work. happy.gif So thanks for the time you did spend with us CJ, it’s a pity we couldn’t agree with each other.
The other team member that left is another story. a1021, who was going to make models and skins for ReGen, didn’t show up for almost two months, and had submitted absolutely NO work since he joined. So the most logical decision would be to kick him off the team, right?
Anyway, enjoy the few shots I put up, and be sure to come by regularly for more updates/pics. We’re not dead, we’re just coming back to life.
