Einer der größten Kritikpunkt an der Demo ist, dass die Mausklicks nicht mehr „C&C Like“ sind. In C&C war der Spieler bisher gewohnt, mit Linksklicks Einheiten eine Bewegung bzw. einen Angriff zu befehlen – in der Demo macht man dies aber mit der rechten Maustaste.
Da es im EA Forum nach dem Erscheinen der Demo dagegen jedoch einen groß angelegten Protest gab, hat sich EA Predator nun zu diesem Problem geäußert.

Do not fear, we fully understand how important this is to you guys, but there are design reason and functionality reasons for the reason its currrently switched.
Its very easy to get to used to, but like most hardcore C&C fans, we know how important your mouse setup is and we intend to do everything we can to put in alternate mouse setup in our first patch.
