Renegade Fans, die bei Jelly Games auf den Renegade Servern heimisch sind, müssen jetzt besonders tapfer sein. Wie Jelly Games bekannt gab, wird man die Renegade Server am 26. August 2015 für immer abschalten.
Nach 11 Jahren und mehreren vergeblichen versuchen wieder mehr Spieler auf den Renegade Server zu locken, teilte das Admin Team von Jelly Games dies mit tiefen Bedauern mit. Leider hatte hier auch die Fusion mit dem Ren-Archive keine nachhaltige Besserung der Nutzungszahlen an Gästen auf den Renegade Server gebracht.

It is with deep regret that we announce that our long running Renegade server will close at the end of August, the date will be around the 26th. We have had an amazing run lasting over 11 years. At our peak we ran 5 well populated servers just after the merger with Ren-Archive. There are very few players now, and the regulars that still play have found other communities offer the best arena to play in and we are fine with that, it’s great that someone has found the right chemistry to keep this game going.
Our current admin team have worked hard to try and get things working again and get players back onto the server, we looked at closing the server a few months back but we decided to go around one more time and see if we could get player numbers back up, Uufje especially worked hard in trying to rally everyone but it was obvious that the interest just wasn’t there in enough people to get the server active again on a regular basis. We made the decision last week that it is now time to draw a line under it and let the server die gracefully; nobody here wants to look at us as just another empty server on the list.
