Und auch von der Star Wars: Imperial Assault[/URL]-Mod gibt es wieder Neuigkeiten. Die Staff der Mod versucht die Mod nun weiterzuverbreiten, indem sie aus nicht nur in die C&C-Community sondern nun auch in der Star-Wars Community tätig sein wollen. Hierzu hat Edan einen Text geschrieben und auch ein neues Pic veröffentlicht.

I“ve just watched Star Wars Battlefront trailers and Star Wars Galaxies jump to lightspeed trailers and right now what we have has a lot of potential– but is still a piece of crap. We need to create one of the greatest Star Wars mods of all time– cuz right now we“re not on that track.The Generals community is old. It“s almost dead. There“s noone left here to help us. We need to touch the Star Wars community– a community that is still growing with these new games coming out– almost a MOVEMENT in Star Wars battles for your PC. We need to become part of it– and we need to recruit people from the community– I“m talking about excellent modellers and skinners (really skinners more than anything) that love Star Wars passionately and model and skin in their spare time.
We need to create a spectacular star wars mod where we don“t rush through it but instead work on making the gameplay better, the explosions better, the effects better, the models and skins have to be amazing– I“m talking CnC Europe quality if not better. Most of our models and skins are up to par– but I think we can really do better in the Empire and other factions that we haven“t done yet, as well as many models that still need to be skinned.
LucasArts– they may pose a problem– but I“m willing to take the risk to make this mod flourish, bringing the Star Wars feeling to life.
We must start a campaign, to get the attention of the whole online Star Wars community– we need people who pour out tatooine buildings in their spare time, or create infantry aliens in huge varieties. We need people who work on creating Star Wars sound effects to add to our games, and people who can create a ridiculously cool interface for our mod.
We have the Generals base here– but we need to expand and make this mod come to life with the Star Wars universe!
Start searching for sites and start spreading the word… there must be hundreds of people out there that love the star wars universe and will help us to reach our goals.
