Apple hat mit dem iPhone 16e eine neue Variante auf den Markt gebracht, die viele Fragen aufwirft. Unboxing & Erster Eindruck

Beim ersten in die Hand nehmen fällt sofort auf, dass das Gerät leichter als die Pro-Modelle, aber schwerer als mein iPhone SE 2020 ist. Die Verarbeitung ist gewohnt hochwertig, auch wenn das Aluminium-Gehäuse nicht so edel wirkt wie Edelstahl.

Display: Kein 120 Hz, aber völlig ausreichend

Das iPhone 16e hat ein OLED-Display mit guten Farben und sattem Schwarz. Die maximale Helligkeit ist etwas niedriger als bei den teureren Modellen, aber im Alltag absolut ausreichend.

Ein großer Kritikpunkt vieler Nutzer ist das Fehlen von 120 Hz. Mich hat es aber nicht wirklich gestört. Klar, beim Scrollen wirkt es auf einem Pro-Modell flüssiger, aber wer es nicht gewohnt ist, wird kaum einen Unterschied bemerken.

Leistung: Solide, aber Apple spart an der CPU

Apple hat dem iPhone 16e eine leicht abgespeckte Version des A18-Chips spendiert. Es gibt nur sechs CPU-Kerne statt der sieben im iPhone 16. Im Alltag merkt man davon aber kaum etwas. Apps starten schnell, Multitasking läuft flüssig, und auch aufwendige Aufgaben wie Video-Editing sind machbar.

Zum Zocken soll der neue A18 Chipsatz eine sehr gute Figur machen und das alte iPhone SE 2020 hatte da schon eine gute Figur gemacht, ich habe beim Spielen kein Ruckeln gemerkt.

Kamera: Besser als gedacht

Die Kamera des iPhone 16e überrascht positiv. Apple hat hier auf eine Dual-Kamera gesetzt, und die Fotos bei Tageslicht sind wirklich stark. Farben wirken natürlich, die Details sind gut, und der Nachtmodus liefert brauchbare Ergebnisse.

Wer jedoch oft mit Zoom oder professionellen Kamera-Features arbeitet, wird die Pro-Modelle bevorzugen. Aber für den Durchschnittsnutzer reicht die Kamera völlig aus.

Akku: Endlich zwei Tage ohne Laden!

Einer der größten Vorteile gegenüber meinem alten iPhone SE 2020 ist die Akkulaufzeit. Während ich mit dem SE kaum über den Tag kam, hält das iPhone 16e locker zwei Tage bei normaler Nutzung durch.

Selbst mit intensiver Nutzung wie Streaming, Navigation und Social Media komme ich problemlos über den Tag. Apple hat hier also ganze Arbeit geleistet.

Mein Fazit: Lohnt sich das iPhone 16e?

Das iPhone 16e ist eine solide Wahl für alle, die ein aktuelles iPhone wollen, ohne zu tief in die Tasche zu greifen. Es bietet eine lange Akkulaufzeit, ein schönes OLED-Display und eine gute Kamera. Wer auf 120 Hz, MagSafe oder High-End-Kamera-Features verzichten kann, bekommt hier ein starkes Gesamtpaket.

Allerdings sollte Apple den Preis um ca. 100 Euro senken, um es noch attraktiver zu machen, da hier eben stellenweise nicht die aktuellste Technologie verbaut wurde. Dennoch bin ich mit meinem Kauf zufrieden – besonders im Vergleich zu meinem alten iPhone SE 2020.

Unboxing & First Impressions

The unboxing experience is typical Apple: minimalistic, premium, but without major surprises. Inside the box, you’ll find the iPhone 16e, a USB-C-to-USB-C cable, and the usual manuals. No power adapter, no MagSafe accessories – as expected from Apple.

Holding the device for the first time, it’s immediately noticeable that it’s lighter than the Pro models but heavier than my iPhone SE 2020. The build quality is excellent, though the aluminum frame doesn’t feel as premium as stainless steel.

Display: No 120 Hz, but Still Sufficient

The OLED display on the iPhone 16e delivers vibrant colors and deep blacks. The maximum brightness is slightly lower than on the higher-end models, but it’s perfectly fine for everyday use.
